WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA

Monday, June 8, 2009

Yes, 3:15pm Monday June 7, 2009. Earthquake. I'm on the computer checking emails etc outside in "my office" after an afternoon of machine quilting, spending too much money at Trader Joes (Paris is crazy for Chicken Shu Mai). My plastic chair is firmly set on the dirt near the old barbeque pit and the creek and YES it was an earthquake. My guess, about 3.2. I hollered out to Scarlett who is inside doing homework, me-"YOOU OK?", Scarlett-"YEAH", me- "did you feel that?", Scarlett- "Yeah, what was it?", me- "Earthquake", Scarlett- "COOL!".
As usual (I am a California girl), I type directly to usgs.gov to see if I am right.....hmmm. not listed yet. Let me check again....
